Well it’s happened….a self-tape studio upgrade! With more actors and singers visiting me in London to prepare their self-tape auditions and musical theatre showreels, I have created a lovely space so that self-tapes can be recorded in an enhanced setting, right here in your lesson.
I still maintain that all you need for a good self-tape is natural light and a blank wall, but this is a lovely upgrade to help your performance stand out. I’ve sometimes thought about getting a single softbox for when the days are a bit grim, but then I remembered all my students are unapologetically extra….and so now my studio boasts three professional softbox lights to set the scene for the perfect take every time!
